Our work in cultivated meat focuses on scalable, cost-effective production of chicken, lamb, and beef. Innovations include immortalized fibroblast lines, ACF media reducing costs by 80%, and high-density bioreactors yielding 43% weight/volume. Achieving cost parity with organic chicken, our process reduces water and land use, licensed to Believer Meats.

Sensor Embedded Human Organoids
Our group integrates metabolic sensors in organoids to unravel disease mechanisms, elucidating nephrotoxicity, arrhythmia, and metabolic dysfunction. Highlights include revealing troglitazone toxicity, mitigating cisplatin renal damage, and understanding mitochondrial oscillations of the heart, advancing human-relevant drug discovery.
Complex Biological Models
We create organoid models emulating human physiology using advanced robotics. We developed multi-chambered cardiac organoids containing epicardium, endocardium and pacemaker clusters; as well as complex patient-derived glioblastoma organoids with multiple niches and stem cells populations.
